Linda W. Clark
IMA's local-government specialist, Linda Clark, has been involved
in the field of records management for seventeen years. Clark
has a distinguished record of service in the information management
field. After working in records management for the Tennessee
Valley Authority (TVA), she became the first records manager
for Knox County (Tennessee). She has served as a speaker and
trainer at both the local and international levels and has
taught records management at the university level. Clark is
a Certified Records Manager (CRM).

Susan K. Goodman
With over 15 years experience and a Certified Records Manager
since1 1991, Susan Goodman is a Senior Consultant with IMA.
She has extensive records-management experience with large
financial institutions, multinational manufacturers, law firms,
public utilities. Some of her specialties include records
retention schedules research and development, strategic solutions
on records issues—including electronic records—orientation
and training at all levels. Goodman has considerable experience
as a manager of outsourced records services accounts with
two management services firms. She is knowledgeable in areas
such as vital and archival records management and business
resumption programs. Goodman has advised organizations on
their use of micrographics, inactive records storage, files
management, and information access and security issues. She
is experienced in marketing, creating procedures, training,
staff supervision, project management, team development, budget
development, and compliance auditing.

J. Lowell Langford
One of IMA’s most experienced consultants is Lowell
Langford, who has been an active, well-known, and highly regarded
member of the Department of Energy (DOE) records management
community for 41 years. While much of his expertise has been
in records management and records systems, Langford has also
had valuable experience in such related areas as reprography,
printing operations, technical information management, procedures
development, training, auditing, process/quality improvement,
forms management, supervision of records technicians, classified
documents accountability, and electronic information systems.

J. Norman Holcombe, Sr.
Another consultant with a distinguished and multi-faceted
career is Norm Holcombe, who has been in records and information
management for more than thirty years. Over his career he
has become proficient in the evaluation and analysis of existing
records management systems and programs as well as the design,
implementation, and leadership of cost-effective programs
in a wide variety of sectors. He initiated the records management
program of the State of Tennessee and led other successful
programs, including one with savings of over $9 million in
6 years. Holcombe is a Certified Records Manager (CRM).
