Linda W. Clark, CRM

Linda Clark has been involved in the field of records management for eleven years. Her previous positions include Director of the Information Services Division of King Business Forms and an Area Coordinator in the Records Management Division of TVA. Her most significant career position was as the Records Manager for Knox County (Tennessee) Government for some seven years.
She was the County’s first records manager and developed this service into what is widely acknowledged as the model local-government records management program in Tennessee. She is currently consulting with Sevier County (TN) Government.

Clark has a distinguished record of service in the information management field. She is, for example, a long-time member of ARMA International and has held several offices at the local chapter level. She has served as a speaker at both the local and international level.

She has taught records management workshops through the University of Tennessee’s Government Training Program and provided training in records management and technology to public and private sectors. She served on the board of the National Association of Government Archives and Records Administrators (NAGARA). Governor Donald Sundquist appointed Clark to serve a second term as a board member on the Tennessee Historical Records Advisory Board. Sundquist also appointed her to serve with a group of 55 Tennesseans to develop provide strategic planning guidance for a state-wide records infrastucture.

Clark has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a major in Office Systems Administration. She achieved the designation of Certified Records Manager (CRM) in 1997.
